The hair straightener relates to a hair styling tool that can be combined with a hair dryer and the like. Another purpose of the hair straightener is to provide an accessory for a hair drying/straightening device, which allows users to dry their hair while fixing the accessory on the hair drying device.

Therefore, an accessory of a hair dryer includes an upper body for supporting a heat transfer plate with a comb extending from one side thereof and a lower body for fixing to the outlet of the hair dryer. The heat transfer plate is heated by the hot air discharged from the outlet of the hair dryer. The upper body of the accessory has air ports arranged around the heat transfer plate so as to guide the hot air roughly at the front and rear of the heat transfer plate, and a pair of side air ports for guiding the hot air to the sides of the heat transfer plate. Referring to Figure 1, there is shown a first preferred embodiment of the accessory 10 of the hair dryer. The first preferred embodiment is a two-piece accessory, which includes an upper body 12 for supporting the straightening member and an outlet or front nozzle for fixing the upper body 12 to a hair dryer (not shown)的下体14. Referring to Fig. 4, the lower body 14 of the first preferred embodiment is fixed on the outlet or nozzle of a hair dryer. Each inner section 30 has a substantially elongated shape and inclines inwardly from the bottom 32 to the top 34 of the lower body 14 . Referring to Figures 5 to 8, there is shown a second preferred embodiment of the hair dryer attachment 50 of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 5-7, the second preferred embodiment is an integrated accessory, which is narrower in the circumferential direction than the two-piece accessory of the first preferred embodiment. In addition, the front air opening 58 is relatively large, thereby ensuring a relatively large amount of air discharge.
Referring to FIG. 8, the inner cavity 64 of the second preferred embodiment does not include the inner section 30 of the first preferred embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4. In contrast, the inner cavity 64 has an inner surface 66 with an inner rib 68 that fixes the attachment 50 to the outlet or nozzle of the hair dryer. In addition, as described above, the entire circumference of the second preferred embodiment is narrower than the circumference of the first preferred embodiment. Therefore, the inner rib 68 and narrower circumference of the second preferred embodiment are sufficient to secure the accessory 50 to many types of hair drying devices.
